So, in the AZ NFAFL Finals, one of the referees recorded the matches and then made them public for anyone that wanted to see.
Needless so say, I really liked the idea and it was fun to watch the match from a entirely different perspective, and I was wondering if players over here would like to have their matches recorded.
First of all, this is something I did not even talk with the other refs yet, so obviously nfcs and the other event coordinators would have to approve this to go on.
This is something I am willing to do myself, as I have recorded fleet matches for my fleet and I can do it for NY too.
I am thinking that, if, and only if, both Fleet Leaders from each of the opposing fleets agree, then I can record the matches and make them public. If one of them disagree, then it's a no-go,.
So, what you guys think?

there is always the option of recording it yourselves, i don't think there should be any recordings especially since you've recruited refs from the server player pool. Its just a bad idea to make it public unless it effects the league rules directly.

Its just a bad idea to make it public unless it effects the league rules directly. Which is why it would only be recorded and released with explicit consent of both of the Fleet Leaders. Anyways, yes, players can record it themselves, but personally, it was nice watching a referee's point of view on the NFAFL finals, not to mention they are much less affected by lags that might result from running your recording program. Anyways, I'm not trying to push this or anything, it would be something for you guys(the fleets and players) to enjoy.

All refs are from the server that you play on it always has been that way, just that they usually do not ref the games that you are playing in
